5 Year Limited Warranty
Salo Manufacturing, (Salo) warrants to the original purchaser only , that the fiberglass products manufactured by Salo are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase as shown on the purchaser's receipt. In the event defects in material or workmanship are discovered, Salo shall decide, after inspection has been completed by its authorized representative, and at its sole discretion, whether to repair the defect or to replace the unit. The replacement of the unit is limited to supplying a replacement unit and does not include the cost of removal or installation.

This warranty is void if the unit is moved from its place of initial installation or is not installed with the instructions supplied by Salo . Further, this warranty does not apply if the unit has been subject to accident, abuse, misuse, damage caused by flood, fire, or act of God. The warranty does not apply to installation workmanship, modifications or unauthorized repairs or modifications. If any unit proves defective within its original five year warranty period, Salo must be notified before any repairs are made to the unit . The original receipt showing the date and location of the purchase must be supplied for warranty coverage to be valid.
The owner agrees by use of the unit that the obligations of Salo shall not extend to contingent or indirect damage or injury which may result from any such use, that the obligations of Salo are limited to those set forth herein, and that no other obligations expressed or implied, are assumed by Salo.

Maintenance
To clean your Salo bath unit, use warm water and a non-abrasive detergent or foaming agent. Do not use ammonia or any cleaner containing ammonia. Abrasive cleaners should never be used on the surface, as they scratch, discolor, and dull the surface.

If a stubborn build-up appears, use an automotive polishing compound, such as DuPont No. 7, followed by an application of a high quality automotive paste wax; or use a polishing product designed for use on fiberglass. This will restore the surface to its original shine. Preventive maintenance would also include application of such a polishing agent every three to four months.
Drying your Salo unit with a soft cloth or towel after each use goes a long way in maintaining a shiny surface.
